My latest dizzy blond moment!
Well, I suppose you have all had too much time to rest your eyes from my "silly me" moments. The sideways underwear, driving away without paying for gas are old news! I have new ones to top them!
The past 3 weeks have been stressful and devastating for me. I can most certainly gain some empathy and understanding considering the monumental blow I had to my hopes and dreams. My dating site, that I had developed after more than 4,000 hours of little sleep and threatening health consequences, was decimated with the act of a dishonest and angry web person.
So, more than my normal blond spacey self, I have been a bit frazzled, freaked out and in a somewhat zombi-like state at times. On top of it, I have been working very hard on my daytime career. Have to make money til I get my dating site back in shape. Looks like this week, I will be fully back in business with a new look and finally making money!
Anyway, about a week ago, I went through the drive thru at Wendys.. In my defense, I don't normally do the ever popular "fast food " stop. I eat pretty healthy... I just don't sleep healthy. I was in deep thought this day and after passing through the window to pay, I kept going. All of a sudden, I looked down and realized that I didn't have my bag of the 90 grams of fat I had been highly anticipating from Wendy's. I had to park and sheepishly go inside to get my food from the order area.
That is not all of my latest brilliant moments. This morning, I was in my usual rush to get ready. Since I have scientifically timed a 30 minute shower and dress period, I was not factoring in my dog's refusal to poop. After getting him squared away, I decided for my coworker's sake that I needed to brush my teeth and do the normal hygeine ritual that my now thankfully former coworker Stinky Huey did not seem to get!
I simply squeezed out some white substance from a plastic bottle of what I assumed was my Crest toothpaste and vigorously started to clean my teeth to a pearly white. It seemed to be fine until suddenly I tasted something that was unfamiliar to my delicate palate. I had grabbed not the toothpaste but my Control Corrective Skincare facial mositurizer!!
Now, I want to warn you all that if you really are adventurous and want to try this, DON"T !!! I have to admit though, my gums do seem silky smooth today!

Feeling Like I just Lost the Last Two Years of My Life!
Today was one of the most devastating days in my life. As many of you know, I have been absent here for the most part. I had decided to focus on fewer things in order to preserve my health and sanity.
I started a dating site 2 years ago with little knowledge and a very limited budget. Two years later, I was still struggling to find a decent web person which was crucial to my site becoming a major player. I was so close but never quite there because I just could not find an honest and competent person to help me.
This afternoon, I found out that the most recent web guy I had hired erased part of my data base and changed my passwords out of anger. He deleted the ages of my members. I told him that I didn't need him any longer since he had screwed up some things on site and had paid him $100 to do so. I still owed him 100 but didn't feel obligated because he never even touched those areas of the list I had provided him.
So, what does this mean? That every member has to go in and manually input their age. Will they all do that ? Certainly they will not. A dating site without searchable members will die.
For this, I sacrificed two years of not having a social life, my health and partly my sanity and in the end it was for what? An angry guy to wipe out my dreams and hard work.
My only hope is that he made a backup of my site and is waiting for me to contact him with an offer. Well, I did and have not heard anything yet.
This is entirely my fault. I never backed my site up personally and always depended on others. Please, if any of you have an internet site, do not trust that others will necessarily have your best interest at heart.

Been Busy but still here!! Anyone Missed Me??
As many of you have noticed, at least I hope so for ego sake, I have not been on Xanga very much. There are a host of reasons that have kept me away such as my mom's surgery, my dating site, working 12 hour days to try to make ends meet and the latest is my new venture.
If I stretched myself much more, I would be awake 24 hours per day. I am working over a whopping 100 hours per week but don't know what else to do. So that I can possibly, oh how I hope it becomes a reality, really start making a living again. I still feel the internet holds the greatest of possibilities for all of us over the next few years!
My newest venture is a dating blog that I hope will entertain, inspire and inform. Those are my 3 reasons for being online. I try to contribute to those who read my sometimes nonsensical posts! This is a brand new venture and work in progress.
My new site is Successfuldatingpro.com and I hope that you will take a peek and give me your absolutely honest evaluation. I have lots to do on it and am very excited. If any of you would like to be contributing writers, I will link back to your Xanga blog!!
I will remain here and post when I can. Please understand that I am so limited. Sleeping in itself is a challenge. I have to find other resources to make money. It is getting harder as most of you know to just pay my bills and we have to be resourceful to get through the next few years!
I wish all of you on here the best of luck as well and hope that you can keep a positive spirit and open mind in the coming months! We must think "outside the box" !!!!

Southern Style Recipe Request!! Please Help!
A dear friend of mine is opening a site that will go live this week called Armadillopepper.com . He needs southern style recipes for example: Florida Cracker Style, New Orleans Style, Georgia Style... etc! His site will be a big one and I am honored that he is seeking my expertise for his venture.
Would any of you have some original recipes or those handed down from generations that are not copied from other sites? It would also give you more exposure because he will give you a link back to your Xanga blog!!
By helping him out it will also help me!! Thanks so much and I hope to return in a more fun capacity soon!!

Oh No!! Another Blonde Moment!!
As I get older, I feel that more blond moments just seem to happen. Am I getting senile or do I just have too much going on in my life? My coworkers think that I have lost my mind at times. There seems to be some validity to that opinion of me.
I recently was away for 11 days visiting my mother and seeing her through a very difficult surgery. I packed my toiletries and as a result, my routine here in Florida was a bit disturbed. At least that is a lame explanation of why I did such a stupid thing!
Every morning, I wash and condition my silky blonde hair. Afterward, I spray it with a fortifier and then a shine spray before drying it. Yes, I am most definitely a high maintenance girl. My hair normally has a nice shine that last all day.
Well, a few days ago, I washed and conditioned my lovely blonde locks and they appeared a little tacky in texture. I didn't think a lot about it and soon forgot that my hair didn't have it's lustrous appearance.
The next day, I went through the same morning ritual to beautify my hair and face for my customers and coworkers. The people so fortunate to work with me are very open about their opinions of my hair and clothing. I try not to disappoint them. Especially, when I wear my tattered and holey work vest. It isn't my fault they don't carry my size anymore.
After I finished washing and drying my hair, I used a good hairspray that contains an anti humidifier. My dog is very needy and expects a little walk before I leave for work. My hair became rather frazzled and coarse after the walk and I chalked it up to the humidity. It was a bit damp that day.
As the day progressed, my hair became more frazzled and greasy looking. Normally, I figure things out at the strangest times. Many times, I will wake up from a sound sleep to remember something that I forgot to do for a customer at work.
As I was sitting on one of our many sofas and chatting with Carolyn, my coworker, the bottle of "shampoo" and conditioner became a clear image before me. For the past 3 days, I had been washing my hair with conditioner and not shampoo !! How silly I was! No wonder when I washed my hair it felt so limp for the past several days!!
Today was such a great day. I had to deal with some very nasty, argumentative customers but who cares! My blonde hair was once again shiny and flowing and I looked damn good!
